#86 - 6th July 2024 - The Elektron Case

This one is for the live rig.

Until today, I’ve had the Elektrons in a Pedaltrain Metro Pedalboard. They fit in quite well.

But the board itself is not wide enough to stand safely on my K&M Spider Stand.

Also, I wanted to build a small pedalboard ready to be grabbed whenever needed that would reside in this Pedaltrain Metro case. So the Elektrons had to go.

At first, I looked in the direction of guitar pedalboards again. But damn… they are super expensive. And I‘m not talking about the fancy ones with clamps and multiple levels, input/output boxes etc - I’m talking about the average Pedaltrain.

A Metro 24 with Hardcase retails for 140€ and has a 3 week delivery time. And I wanted something a bit larger which turns out to be a difficult format to get…

So I ordered a custom case from Thomann‘s own brand „Thon“ for 149€.

In addition, I got foam and cork plates to add some padding - and boom! There‘s the case.

Time to put it to use 🎤🎹🥁
