#182 - 10th October 2024 - Stoner EP sound check

Audio Technica ATM250DE.

We used it the other day to record guitars for to demo sounds for a stoner rock track.

Originally, I had bought it for its intended main purpose - kick drum recording.

But the manual recommends to try it on guitar, so I did.

What made me buy it: It sports a condenser and a dynamic mic, positioned perfectly in phase.

The two sound quite different from another and allow to mix the perfect blend without any phase issues.
