It‘s kinda famous because of Netflix‘ „Dark“ where it‘s the title track and show opener.

Beyond, it’s also a great source of inspiration as it combines many things that I like in music: it‘s dark, mysterious, it gives the sounds room to bloom, there is a tactile quality to the sound design, the vocal is an instrument more than it is a lead vocal that must stand out.

There is also a brilliant live version of this track.

And the song sends shivers down my spine by giving a similar vibe to the Rogues‘ encampment OST from Diablo II. Having spend hundreds of hours with the game, listening to this track sends me back to the year 2000.

And I cannot not say it: It’s the best Diablo game.
