#153 - 11th September 2024 - YouTube campaign review

Male, Japanese, good age group distribution.

That‘s interesting.

The ad campaign was set for US, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Sweden.

Yet, the leading country that seemingly the YT algorithm found to have the key audience is 🇯🇵 , followed by Sweden 🇸🇪 .

Click through rates which is the portion of people that clicked on the video when they were shown the thumbnail has sometimes been quite good, and at other times not so much.

On average, not so good. I read that 3% was an okayish value. We got 1.6%. Shitty thumnbail?!

Male/female ratio seems balanced. I would reckon that 2/3 to 1/3 is the YT average.

And then ~7.300 views and an overall subscriber growth of ~400 or 80% over a period of two weeks of a paid campaign for 150€.

Similar to the previous YT experiment, this proves to show more impact for the money spent than what I did on Meta.

However, I remain sceptical about the subscribers and their validity.

Currently, there is no new video planned. Next upload is likely going to be the Socrates cover video.
