#131 - 20th August 2024 - Finally some Ableton time

And I used it to watch a tutorial I had marked on roller bass. I re-constructed a bass sound around which this little thing emerged.

And while I was still playing with the preset, this little line came along. I think I'll do something with it. It has got a proper hit. And the stumbling feel is partly bad timing, partly a wanted effect.

What is there to learn?

• A smashing bass sound comes with good envelopes on filter and pitch.
• A modern stereo bass sound can be achieved with unison, as long as it is not too much.
• OTT!! On everything!! But keep the depth knob in check.
