What seemed super easy to set up in my head, turned out to take quite a bit of time in reality.

Where are program changes again in Ableton‘s MIDI lane? (Left upper side)

Do I need a note to activate them? (You don’t)

What exactly does it control in Digitakt? (The pattern, not the bank)

Can I set up Digitakt so that a pattern change is immediate, not only after the sequence of the pattern ended? (No, dipshit 💩)

Why is the transportation behavior in Digitakt‘s sequencer so strange when starting and stopping Ableton MIDI clips? (If anyone knows, ring me up)

Isn‘t it a bit unnecessarily complex to MIDI control Digitakt and only from there MIDI control the Heat and the Prophet? Yes, one might think. Especially at the cost of Prg Chg being bound to patterns, being bound to the finishing of pattern issue.

But! With this I am independent from Ableton and might at some point even set up the entire song playback structure with Song Mode in Digitakt.

To be realistic, I‘ll probably never do that. But who knows?! I do.

Point is: Copilot is a brilliant replacement for manuals. Use it!
