#114 - 3rd August 2024 - The MacBook is boiling my sexy knees

For real though. It is quite hot from rendering videos. Canva and CapCut are very demanding with my beloved M1.

So what has happened today?

a) My Elektron case got a new ground floor after realizing on Thursday that glue and cork don't unite to the strong force that I need for my dear machines. So that took a bit of tinkering around, but it's done. MIDI automation tomorrow.

b) After a little bit of research, checking youtube videos with reviews that were mostly utterly useless and a total waste of time, I chose to go with metricool - and not with tailwind, later or socialpilot. Why? Focus on TikTok, Youtube, Instagram (in that order) features and also price. It seems to be the best allround value tool for a single person.

c) Videos were cut. I made the Night & Day Cover video for youtube. That was fairly easy, as I re-used the Out of Line file, exchanged the cover, tweaked a few things here and there and boom. Done. What cost way more time was cutting a video for the remix version just out of stock material. But it turned out quite alright. So that was worth it.
