It was on my to-do list, so I worked on it. This is going to be release #3. It's not yet scheduled, but I simply announce either the 4th or 11th September as a release date, right now. It will depend on how Night & Day performs, whether the remix is something we can potentially ride a bite longer.

Oh, and it will also depend on whether I will remain to be mostly alone with all the effort and to-do's around the release. It has become a major annoyance; little to no support, no feedback. And if there's feedback, it's because a video did not come out as expected. Needless to say no one takes care of a re-shoot or any other form of replacing the neglected variant.

Anyway. Here's the full version of Summer Nights in Mix v1. I mixed the vocals in a separate project where I only had an older version of the instrumental as a stereo sum. I forgot that I had changed quite a bit around voicing and EQ. So this v1 certainly needs some re-work in the vocal mix. The reverbs don't feel right, and also EQ-wise, it does not sit where it is supposed to sit.

But I also just finished the "10 days to release"-plan that's ahead of us... or me?! So Summer Nights will have to wait at least until after release. I hope the mastering engineer isn't planning on any longer sommer vacation in August. I should check in with him.
